Preliminary report on the IAPLC2013 application number!
The deadline has come to a close for the International Aquatic Plants Layout Contest of 2013. This year as well, we have brought together many contestants. Although we had contestants from 57 different countries, a bit shy of last year's 63 (country and area), we did exceed the total number of contestants from last year boasting a total of 2,164, the highest number in the history of the IAPLC.
From now on, the rest of the contest will proceed through a judgment of the top 100 layouts and will finish with a final judgment and a notification to all contestants near the start of August (we will announce the world ranking at the same time). We are also preparing for the Nature Aquarium Party in conclusion to this year’s contest for the 28th of September. Who will win the grand prize this year? We hope all of you look forward to the conclusion of the contest.
